Getting So Big

It's funny to think before Liam turned two I was worried about how little he talked. I even brought it up at his two year check up. (But by that point he was starting to talk a lot more and I am pretty sure they thought I was crazy)

Well fast forward 6 months and my 2 year old and 5 month old little man talks about everything and anything. He is great at full sentences. The other day he said something along the lines of "I bring my blue bowling ball downstairs" The other morning I knew Liam was awake as he screamed "I need new batteries" (He loves this projector he has in his bed and saw me put new batteries in it a few weeks ago)

This morning he told me "I'm standing on the carpet."Then he told me he missed daddy, and that daddy was buying him more oranges.

There is nothing he will not try and say. If he hears something on TV he will repeat it. He also now likes to request that I put Barney on TV for him.... something I was hoping I would never hear!!! I am just waiting for the slip up of one us adults and he repeats a bad word!!  

We are also in the process of switching Liam to a Toddler bed. Yesterday was our first day trying this out and nap time did not go so well! We eventually had to put his mattress back in his crib, BUT he did sleep in the bed for bedtime last night and his nap today!!! Last night went well. He came to our door once and I just tucked him back in and he was fine. I did find him on the floor before I went to bed.... some how he just rolled right out :)

 Yes he is a little hoarder in his bed!!! But isn't he cute!
