Wisconsin Visit

Last week we surprised my mom for her birthday with a trip to Wisconsin. Grandma Cathy, Liam and I drove on Wednesday after Liam's doctors appointment. (Casey was studying for his Summer finals) Driving 6 hours with a little boy after he got shots might not have been the best idea, but we made it back in time to surprise my mom at the concert on the square. She was completely surprised!!! My dad and sisters knew we were coming, but I told them we would be in town on Thursday - they were suspicious of me, something about not being online all day :)


We also celebrated Brooke's 29 and a half birthday!! It was also a surprise for her as well! She got some balloons (which Liam liked!) and a fun Princess wine glass!

Here Liam is enjoying his first concert on the square! Look at how cute he is! It was a little cold out, but he had a great time! His hat is a red and black Mohawk hat!


We had a great few days in Wisconsin - as always! My lack of sleep/mommy brain has made me completely forget all we did when we were visiting. I know it involved lots of family time! We played with cousin's Claire and Anna, and also had a cook out with friends, where Liam got to watch lots of older kids play.

Liam got a new bouncy chair with a red polka-dot dog on it, which he LOVES! He laughs and talks to the red dog. It's his new favorite!!

Liam's cousins Claire and Anna gave Liam a mobile from when they were little that Liam also LOVES! It's a crazy mobile, with lots of colors, animals, and moving things. It keeps him entertained for a while!

Liam is a very curious little boy. He loves looking at everything (which sometimes means he does not like to sleep!!!) I think he is going to be an Engineer like Grandpa. Just look at these two checking out everything. So curious! Casey thinks Liam is going to be a Lawyer like him, so maybe he will become a Patent Lawyer! Either way, he is so curious, he does not have time to sleep!
Last Tuesday, Grandpa Peter, Liam and I headed back to Michigan. I talked my dad into driving back with us after the not so fun drive to Wisconsin and said that train travel would be involved if he drove with us! Liam slept 4 of the 6 hours and we only had to stop once! It was a nice drive, plus he actually slept well that night! And I think my dad had an awesome day riding the train from East Lansing to Milwaukee!
