Last summer when I found out I was pregnant, I started working on a quilt for the baby. Both my Grandma Wolf and Casey's Grandma Riley were big knitters, and so I wanted to make the baby a knitted quilt, even though up to me starting the quilt, I had only knit one thing.
To make it extra special, I used yarn from both my Grandma and Casey's Grandma extensive yarn collection.
It's not perfect by any means, and its a lot smaller than I planed, but I made it and I know his Great Grandma's would be happy.

Love the blanket!
Can I put an order in...not for my future baby...but for me. So I can have one blanket at home and then one blanket in MI?
Angela, this is amazing! Our girls love their baby blankets. Claire frequently talks about who her blanket is from while she gets all cozy in it. It's such a wonderful way for the kids to a make a connection and get a cozy hug from those wonderful grandmas they don't get to meet in person.
So thoughtful. Bravo to you!
