We started our trip to Wisconsin with a belated "surprise" 30th birthday party for Casey. He is also half way though Law School, another Great reason to celebrate!!
Christmas Eve we spent with the Hunt Family. We had 2 great meals, opened great presents, played several rounds of Apples to Apples, and ate way too many sweets. This Christmas was also the year of the fake mustaches. All of the boys wore one, including Murray.
The kids (of all ages) had fun opening their presents!
Christmas day we headed to the Wolf House for more good food. We played a new game Blokus (which is really fun!) and opened fabulous presents, and again broke out the mustaches! We had to wait until Christmas night to open our presents, so the filters were off a bit (made for a fun gift opening)
We also had Christmas Dinner with my Grandma and Donna. Here is the sisters, Mom, Donna and G-ma in front of the tree.
My mom got a nice new Sweat Shirt!
Casey, Kristin and Hayley all got Snuggies!!
Sunday we then headed to my Grandma's house for the Ballweg family Christmas. We all wore fancy Christmas sweaters.
Grandma was asked if she wanted a beer, she said she never drank beer, but she would have a shot.....
Sunday we had the Wolf Family Christmas!
The week between Christmas and New Years we got together with lots of friends, saw more family, had a pleasant trip to the DMV, Casey went to the UW basketball game vs Ohio State, and of course we ate a lot!
New Years Eve we went to dinner with friends and then rang in the New Year at Brooke and Matt's. New Years Day we hung out at the Hunt house and had dinner at the Wolf House with both sets of parents.
It was a great 12 days, that went way too fast!!! It was great seeing everyone but its nice to be back home!
