Our New Place and My Christmas Tree

Sunday night we moved into our new and hopefully last place in East Lansing, we are living a week and a half with only a new sleeper sofa I got for Casey's study room, and an air mattress, and some of our stuff. We do not have anything for the kitchen, I had to buy 3 lamps since the new place does not have any over head light. We borrowed a TV and DVD player, and so nicely 2 of the neighbors do not secure their wireless networks (hehe :) ) ... and well the rest makes for some interesting time.

In true me style, I had 4 cans of paint bought before we even moved in (this place lets you paint!) and in less than 3 days of living here, I already have 2 accent walls painted (including 3 coats of a deep red!)

Moving 10 days before Christmas does not help much with the Holiday spirit and since we are heading back to Wisconsin for Christmas, and we don't have any of our stuff, we have no Christmas decorations up, and it doesn't make sense to get a tree. To get myself in the holiday spirit I just had to get a tree... so I improvised.... :) it works for this year... or at least until I paint that wall.

You can see in this picture my sofa (the air mattress), my desk (a box) and the TV on the floor! And you can also see my two accent walls, which I am very happy with!!
